For what it's worth, I really love your paintings (as well as writings). I do think you have an idiosyncratic, well-developed 'voice' in your work. Maybe harvest can be more like picking a cherry tomato or a blackberry off the bush every time you go past
Thanks! I have been waiting to hear back about some opportunities I've applied for, but I don't want to think I have to wait for an institution to "harvest." I love that that imagery there, thank you :)
Your writing is exquisite... It's resonating with me deeply. I am new to this platform and considering sharing here. And I am in owe that I was able to find so much treasure in two days.
Love this. Not sure art schools teach how to 'render, mix colors, and compose an image' though. They haven't done that for decades (I wish mine had!)...
I went to St Martin's in London in the late 70s. It was a top school and full of itself, everything was abstract, figurative work was old style and you didn't do it if you were serious...I was 17 and very serious! I did get some training the previous year in another place, and Edinburgh and Glagow were still teaching that stuff. But I went to the 'how clever, you got in'place....

Thanks so much! That means a lot. I recommend it. It's nice to have a space to look back on to see how your ideas have grown.
