LOVED this video and agreed with absolutely everything you said. I think perhaps we are kindred spirits. I also think this dollhouse is such a great idea. And the ATTIC!! So much potential symbolism there. I must think of something to add to the attic.
Hi Jeremy! My brain is in over drive thinking about this. A couple of practical questions: it's not clear if you're looking for our handmade items for the attic, I'm assuming this is the case. Also, is there a size requirement? Thanks!
Hey Jacqueline! Thanks for letting me know your questions :) Sorry if the video was a bit unclear. Yes, your own handmade objects would be great! just to leave room for more people's submissions i'd say to make sure it's the size of the palm of your hand or less. Is that still too open ended? Feedback is totally appreciated if you have any more
...50 fire emojis...currently my attic contains small amounts of black mold, dead raccoons...but your questions are far deeper and more interesting than that...what a cool project...
I'd like to contribute a small 1x1 inch sealed box that will symbolically contain trinkets of the things I wish I held onto, could have held onto. Good reminders...memories of the people I've lost ... my dad especially. Letters, photos, a favorite sweater, journals, favorite books, sketchbooks, toys, ice skates...concert tees...cassette tapes, vhs home movies ... super 8 reels... old cameras... things lost, but not forgotten. Stored memories. If that makes sense.
Love this project, Jeremy. I’m thinking about a contribution and thanks for the opportunity. My question: the video clips of the house being torn down, moved to the country, etc. I REMEMBER THIS! It made such an impression on me as a child. I recall becoming emotionally invested in that house and was so relieved it “survived”… what is this from? Disney or? Where did you find it?
Yay! Hi! I can't wait to see what you find in the attic :) The clips are taken from Disney's The Little House, which was first a children's book illustrated by Virginia Lee Burton. very much hoping disney doesn't find this video and make me take it down lmao, but it went along with the project so well I just HAD to use it

Thanks, Sarah : ) Can't wait to see what you come up with. Perhaps we should collaborate on something at some point!
Yes, I think we should!

Relatable! lol Well free to share something if you feel inspired to, but I probably can't accept any mold or raccoons :P
...i'll keep the mold and raccoons here...they seem to like it...i'll send something more meaningful...
I mean, I'm seeing a crocheted racoon effigy with embroidered black mold, but hey
...this is something that def can and should be made...
